I have long hair, at times I get a "Nice hair style" or "Where did you get it done?", I usually say thanks and move on, at times when I'm feeling grumpy I point out that I haven't cut my hair in over 6 months. I intend to get it chopped but the effort involved in coming up with a plan on how much of it to cut and then dragging myself to a barber tends to put me off.

When you see a male geek with long hair, never mistake him for someone who's trying to be cool. He's either too lazy or too cheap to get a haircut.
